In 1963 the Nova Scotia Legislature passed an incorporation act which gave Kingston Bible College the authority to confer degrees according to its charter and to conduct the many academic branches of its work. The college is, therefore, a legally recognized institution of higher learning in the province of Nova Scotia. A charter in Canada constitutes full recognition of degrees. To preserve this recognition the College confers only those degrees authorized by its charter, i.e., Bible degrees.

Kingston Bible College is listed in the I.C.R. directory of schools in North America that hold strongly to the literal interpretation of Scripture accepting the Genesis record of creation as an accurate factual account. Other schools in this directory include: Spurgeon Baptist Bible College, Bob Jones University, Luther Rice Seminary, and Clearwater Christian College.

Kingston Bible College graduates are accepted into the graduate programs of several recognized religious institutions. In addition, government loans are available to students who qualify.

It will be noted that the curriculum of the College is based on that of the generally accepted Theological Seminary. The only actual difference is that a full course in Arts is not offered, but the necessary subjects in Arts required for a good theological education are offered. The College believes that it should combine the very highest academic standards with the utmost piety of life for personal devotion to our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.

Unto Him that loved us, and washed us from our sins in His own blood, and hath made us kings and priests unto God and His Father; to Him be glory and dominion for ever and ever. Amen. Revelation 1:5c-6

That Almighty God is the Creator and Sustainer of the universe, three Persons in One Being, and revealed to humanity by Jesus Christ, the second Person of the Godhead.

We believe in the virgin birth of Jesus Christ, His atonement by His blood on Calvary, His physical resurrection, His ascension, His appearing for His saints, and His second coming to set up His kingdom on this earth, thus bringing humanity to judgment.

We believe that personal salvation is for all who will accept Christ by faith, and thus refusal to do this means eternal separation from God, with all the conscious suffering of such a lost condition.

That the Holy Ghost is the Third Person of the Trinity, and that it is His office to lead believers on earth unto all truth and to apply the benefits of full redemption unto all who receive Christ by faith.

That the Holy Scriptures are inspired by the Holy Ghost verbally without error. Difficulties through translation have occurred, but the contents of the original writings have been preserved by Him, and as such are the final appeal of faith and conduct. Concerning new versions of the Bible the College recognizes only translations made from what has been called “the received text.” This is the text which underlies the Kings James Version (1611 and 1769 Oxford edition) of the Holy Scriptures. The school maintains that the Textus Receptus of the New Testament and the Massoretic text of the Old Testament is an unsurpassed text.

We stand opposed to the Ecumenical and Charismatic movements, as they are unbiblical.
